Bob Mochizuki designed a new BMW M4 for the year 2008. This BMW will fill the line up gap between the M3 and M5. This new M4 is a strong emotionally unique vehicle. It’s a two seater with classic proportions and new dynamic curves and fenders, keeping with the current and past BMW design themes. Mochizuki’s design is a more pure 'M', an ultimate driving machine. The design is based on the current M3 platform with a V8 engine.

looks hot but one thing....
the 4 series is gonna basically be a 4 seater 2 door car right?
the Z4 is a 2 seater 2 door conv. right?
so is the M4 gonna be 2 or 4 seats?

Yes, the Z4 is a 2 door, 2 seater, convertible.
The M4 concept shown here is a 2 seater, and the quote that I lifted in my earlier post says that. I find it rather odd though.

Regardless of what happens, BMW's are pretty hot these days. They sell good and look good also. I can't speak for the future but making 5 different types of M series car will sell just as good as the AMG mercedes do. And hell look at them, they make an AMG for just about every model they make, so its wise for BMW to jump on the banwagon. If i had the money i would definitely buy one, or more!

i don't know why some people don't like new bmw designs.. i always hated old 5 series, i'm sick of 3 series, and people are talking about bangle is screwing up the bmw.. well, frankly, i think all upcoming new bmw's is much better design than previous models. and i'll definitely save money for m4 v8!!!

yeah, that looks nice. Without the fron flare it looks hot. The back flare is nice because it wraps around the car. Picture the next 3 series to be a sedan, and the next 4 series to be the coupe variant with similar styling. look how big the back window is just like the current 3 coupe. The only thing i heard on the e46 boards is that the next 4 will be priced higher than the 3 like the 6 is priced higher than the 5, and they are based off the same platform and tech.
