I dont know i Like the BMW Designs especialy with the sport packages they come with. The 7 series is a lot better looking its going away from the normal boxed shape that a lot of people critisized. Id go for a BMW over any other car right now based on luxury and power. And Yea Still is the ULTIMATE driving machine!

Having owned a 5 series, even an 85. Have you ever really truly driven one? Its fucking amazing. You feel so connected to the road, the car is so spirited, handles so pristinly. Its such an indivdual driving experience that youll only ever feel driving one. I got to drive my uncles 2000 5 series and my friend has a 2002 545 6spd. Btw heres my rundown
7 - the only one i kinda like, cept for the retarded stalk mounted shifter
6 - could have been great but they fucked up with dumb headlights and weak rounded grill
5 - damned ugly, the m5 looks better, but still its an ugly car, interior just blows
3/4- from the pictures ive seen, not that great, not aggressive and huge swooping lines, but...i will wait to see more about it before totally hating on it.

Z4 - just looks silly, looks like the ambiguosly gay duos car come to life.

THis is very odd. WHat magazine was this? In CAR and EVO, they have loved the 5 as a driver but did not really like the styling and felt some interior pieces were very cheap. THey said it was an even better drivers car now. No one has tested the 545 yet.
THey tested the E vs the 5 and the 5 was way sportier.

think its a little early to count the 5 out. the current one is kinda bland and needed some style, the main problem i see is they didn't decide on a good headlight/tailight design before starting this new wave.

I like the new BMW designs but glad to see they're starting to get thrown around by other car companies.

The old interiors of the Bimmers are quite amazing, but not 20k wrth of amazing. It is just my opinion.
I like to styling of the 5 series, but it does not fit the target audiences tastes is my basic argument.

Those drilled huge rear rotors remind me of the ones on the E55 AMG.
I saw the E55 AMG on the streets parked at Greek Town, down town Chicago... It looked very nice from the front. Rear...so, so. I cant believe that thing will spank a C5 any time anywhere. And the Z06 will have trouble too. About even is the estimate.

I guess we'll just have to see what he sales numbers are for Bimmer after all of these horrific models have debuted for awhile. I think BMW is simply hoping that those who buy BMW only for the nameplate will continue to do so regardless of the fact that all of the new models are UGLY AS SIN!

those of you that think its ugly your crazy! tht thing is soooooooooooooooo nice! I would take that over any Benz! V10 500hp and a real manual not those fake ones that the worst driver can master.....BMW 4 LIFE!!! Well thats until i reach Ferrari!
