It looks like a NICE car. BUT BMW isn't about nice, BMW is about the badass look. Especially the M cars.
I have always said Bangle makes nice cars, just not nice BMW's.

Spying: New BMW 5 Series Station Wagon
BMW 5-Series Wagon
While the BMW 5-series sedan is already in the showrooms, the station wagon is still a year away from its launch. This photo shows a prototype of the upcoming wagon during its latest high-speed testing at Nürburgring.

silver pic looks exactly like two silver 530's on speedvison last night. was kinda cool to see the host and a bmw test driver racing two 530's around the nurburgring, couple contest winners were there too and got a ride around the ring at insane speeds. seemed to give it a postive review as far as driving-styling could go either way. i kinda like the silver

Well, it coule be. A radiotor and an interooler is basically the same thing. They both exhange heat. Only one uses water to do it, the other air (or water in rear cases).

What's the hottest new option customers want on the 2004 5-series?
Autospies:
Did you guess navigation?
If you did you would be wrong.
The hottest option people want is the heads-up display ($1000).
Unfortunately, it's delayed until next year.....

That was the cost of a near loaded 540, what a crock of shit.

whats bullshit is that it doesn't come with leather starting at 44k, instead leatherette. pricing it out on carsdirect, being extremely modest-just chosing the sport package the car is 50k.
6-speed is standard which is fine for me
xenon
sport -which includes leather, 18"wheels, inside trim, sport seats, etc
premium audio
split rear seats
=
52,820
nice luxury car but a tad steep with the 330i's engine, maybe if they had a middle engine with 250hp or a diesel.

The CTS-V is fully equipped at 50k ? Any options?
With a nice discount from the Cadillac stealer I'll go for the CTS-V instead the 530i (not that I am going to buy a sedan any time soon…)
