It does not seem that they have the same headlight. The headlight on the M3 look identical as the ones on the F30 and it does not have LED turn signal like the ones on M4.

^^^The M3 prototype was running the HID Xenons, but the M4 concept showed the optional LED headlights.

I think LED headlights are overrated. It is new and cool but the visibility is not that great at night when i was driving my friend's A7 with LED headlight.

^ I drove the CT200h with the tech package and full LED headlights. The cut off on them is crazy short, you really NEED the high beams to drive at any appreciable speed. The HIDs on my Audi on the other hand have far more range at about the same brightness and color temperature.

Production F80 M3 Revealed in Full and in Yas Marina Blue
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=906977
We reveal to you the F80 M3 in production form! This M3 wears the Yas Marina Blue Metallic color with carbon fiber roof and was spotted during an official commercial filming session.
Seeing the F80 M3 in Yas Marina Blue for an official commercial shoot also indicates that this may be the launch color for M3 marketing material and for when it makes its debut at the 2014 Detroit auto show in January.

The BMW M4 weight just under 1,500 kg to get the DIN weight amounts to 1,497 kg. The EU's weight, which with one passenger (68 kg) and a few kilograms of luggage (7 kg) is taken into account, is 1,572 kg. The M3 weighs 1,520 kg. In comparison, the E92 M3 weighs 1,575 kg (DIN). Below are the comparison of the M4 with its predecessor, the E92 M3.
Performance
The M4 is powered by a 2,979 cm3 large straight-six engine with TwinPower Turbo. It delivers 431 hp and 550 Nm at 1850-5500 rpm.
0-100 km/h does the M4 in 4.1 seconds and the top is of course limited to 250 km/h. Order a M Driver's Package, and the needle stops at 280 km/h. The elasticity of 80-120 km/h in 4th gear coming out at 3.5 seconds. That's as fast as a Porsche 996 Turbo and a Ferrari 575M Maranello F1, and even two tenths faster than a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano F1 and a Pagani Zonda S ...
The average consumption is 8.3 l/100km, with corresponding CO2 emissions of 194 g/km.
The E92 M3 accounted for 12.4 liters on average, and an emission of 290 g/km. 0-100 goes 4.6 seconds and 80-120 km/h was in 4.9 seconds.
Dimensions
The M4 Coupe measurement (without mirrors) 4,671 x 1,870 x 1,383 millimeters, the E92 M3 4615 x 1804 x 1424 mm. The new M is longer, wider and lower, but also lighter. The horsepower-to-weight ratio (DIN / EU) rises to 3.47 / 3.65. This was 3,75 / 3,93.

The new interior is hot, I like the leather on the upper dash. Nice touch, but probably part of the extended leather option.
Am I crazy to think the M3 sedan has the edge in looks over the M4 coupe?
You could always get the 1M front bumper with rear diffuser and you won't be too far off from the new exterior. Anyways, our generation will always sound nicer.

Also, what's up with the perf sections on the center of the seats? Are they for air conditioned seats?

What's that curvy carbon fiber thingy snaking around the engine?
Also, did they put enough creases into the bumpers? Not that I'm complaining...

Oh boy! Doesn't sound as bad as some of the prototypes, but still no where near as awesome as the E9X V8...

That is what people said about E46 M3 when E9X M3 came out.
In 5 years people will be saying the something about F80 M3 when the XXX M3 comes out...
On a side note: what is up BMW with different chassis code for every model now?
I am so confused.
It was very clear during E46 and before, then it got a little confusing when E9X came out. Now F30 M3 is called F80 M3? and There is F31 F32 and 4 series is something else.

Intredasting.. I like the sedan more than the coupe, which never happens. Probably should wait to see the M4 in something other than that phoenix yellow color I hated on the E46.
