Audis been doing some of the laziest redesigns ever.
It's almost hard to tell apart the new ones from the old ones. The A4's "redesign" is more of a refresh than anything else. Same goes for porsche and their 997.

the most recent have been TERRIBLE, I agree. The A4 and even A3 (considering the old non USDM model) were rather boring redesigns. However, the A6 and A8 are superb.

Following our exclusive posting of the full-size Audi TT teaser image, Britain's AutoExpress has what it says are the first pictures of the 2007 Audi TT. Unfortunately, the only image we have is a tiny teaser from the cover of the magazine, so it's hard to assess the authenticity of the picture. However, it looks pretty darn close to the official image.

The sketch shows the car in side profile, revealing the design of the taillights. We're not sure if the proportions of the sketch are accurate, as they show a very low roofline. We'll know for sure when we see the official pictures on April 6th. See the sketch and Tuesday's teaser after the jump…

TT Caught Testing - - Source: Autoweek

While Audi has released sketches of its next-generation TT on a preview Internet site, spy shooters have already caught the new model undergoing cold-weather testing.
Due to hit the market late this year as a 2007 model, the current model's lines have been molded into something more modern.
The coupe will come first, followed by the roadster in 2007. A wagon is also rumored.
Based on the A3, two powertrains will be available. The base will be the 2.0-liter, 200 hp turbo four. Uplevel from that will be the 3.2-liter V6 250hp. Both have a six-speed manual transmission standard. The 3.2 V6 also gets quattro 4wd standard.
Plans to develop a diesel TT are also thought to be underway. All but the entry-level variants will come with quattro all-wheel drive. A movable rear-spoiler is also slated to replace the solid one.
There’s also talk of TT flagship, likely to be badged the RS. The range-topper would be powered by a 2.0-liter bi-turbo unit, and will take on BMW's hot Z4 M. But we’ll have to wait a while for this version.
Audi will officially take the wraps off the new TT in early April. Until then, you can also check out a microsite Audi has created for the vehicle at: http://www.audi.com/TT

being a chick car has nothing to do with a car's capabilities. what makes a car a chick car is the reason behind why chicks dig it.
If a car is fast and furious, and chicks dig it because it's fast and furious (like if DP drives an F430), then it's NOT a chick car.
But if a car is fast and furious BUT chicks dig it because it's cute, then it's a chick car.
Like the current TT...it may perform well and dudes may dig it, but as long as the chicks are digging it because it's "cute", it's a chick car. In other words, if you can apply "cute" to a car, it's probably a chick car.
If chicks dig a car because it's "hot" or because it's "cool", then that's another story...
