Arrinera: Hussarya News **Prototype Revealed (page 1)**
Press release...
Arrinera will be a Polish-British car in the “supercar” segment, which in terms of driving parameters, quality of workmanship and performance can compete with the cars manufactured by the most renowned companies in this market segment. Work on the prototype has been completed and the project is entering the crucial phase of preparing a manufacturing/production version of the car
Arrinera’s design assumptions aim at fulfilling all the following conditions, which distinguish a ”super car” from mass-produced sports cars:
• extraordinarily almost-perfect traction throughout the speed range,
• brake deceleration of 1,1-1,3 g (10,79-12,75 m/s˛),
• power/weight ratio of 1,1-2,9 kg/1HP,
• acceleration 0 - 200 km/h below 10 seconds,
• acceleration 0 - 300 km/h below 30 seconds,
• acceleration to 100 km/h below 4 seconds,
• braking from 300 to 0 km/h below 7 seconds,
• the 0-300-0 km/h test below 40 seconds,
• cornering g-force over 1 ,
• 1/4 mile time below 12 seconds,
• centrally positioned engine,
Lee Noble, a famous British car designer will lend his name to the project. He is currently a member of the supervisory board and a shareholder in Arrinera Automotive S.A. He will be responsible for technical aspects related to the supercar as well as for the design and production of the rolling chassis. Completion of work on the prototype means that the project now enters into the crucial phase of preparing a manufacturing/production version of the car which will take at least 12 months – typical for conditions connected with the production of cars in the ”supercar” segment
Lee Noble is a British entrepreneur, designer and automobile engineer. He has been acclaimed as the most prolific British car manufacturer ever. Across three decades, he has manufactured almost 2000 cars based on his own designs. Almost all of them produced innovative performance, sometimes at the expense of comfort and flashy styling. The first of them – Ultima – was used as a test mule for a model which was to become the fastest production car in the world – the McLaren F1.
As part of implementing its strategy, the management of Arrinera Automotive has signed an exclusive deal for negotiations to buy a 50% stake in Fenix Automotive Ltd from Great Britain, which is involved in the construction project of the Fenix sports car. Arrinera plans to complete the transaction by the end of the third quarter of 2011. This investment will enable Arrinera to carry out the strategy for building a group of companies with a very strong position in the world market of low-volume production in the ”supercar” and sports car segments, gaining access to foreign markets and technology/know-how while operating in a prestigious and elite market. Fenix Automotive is controlled by Lee Noble.
Arrinera Automotive plans to commence production of cars in Poland. Instead of creating its own manufacturing facilities, the company is concentrating on finding suitable subcontractors in our country and talks with potential partners having necessary expertise in car manufacturing are well advanced.
The next step in the execution of the company’s strategy is to begin work on a new car – this time in the “fun car” segment. It is a single- or two seat car, fully open without luggage space, weighing less than 500 kg and power in the range of 200-300 HP. Its price should not exceed 70,000 GBP
Arrinera Automotive expects the target volume of production of all three models will be from 600-700 cars a year.
Arrinera Automotive S.A. is preparing for its first quotation of shares at the New Connect market. The majority shareholder of Arrinera Automotive is the VENO S.A. venture capital fund, listed on the New Connect market for 3 years.
Appearance of Arrinera
The car body styling is characterized by sharp and dynamic lines, which clearly indicate the massive potential of the supercar. The front of the car is close to the ground which vastly improves its aerodynamic properties. Two air intakes allow cooling air to be directed onto the hot brakes. When looking at the car from the side, one cannot help the impression that the car is surprisingly asymmetrical: the passenger cabin is moved forwards and the door line rises distinctively – these features are something that we do not see very often in everyday traffic. Such a futuristic car body is the result of the central positioning of the massive engine, which dominates the whole design. At the back of the car, unique muffler housings with diffusers resemble the exhaust nozzles of a jet airplane. The Arrinera supercar will be equipped with a 650HP engine. The car body will be unique and its aerodynamics and lightweight construction will make it possible to maximize the output of the engine. The stylist responsible for Arrinera’s lines is Pavlo Burkatskyy.
Chassis and body
The chassis designed by Lee Noble will be made from high-strength steel of variable section and considerable torsional strength. It will be extraordinarily light and characterized by high deformation resistance. The expertise of the British designer (over 30 years in the industry) ensures a suitable level of protection for the cars in this category. Optionally, the body, interior and floor can be made of Carbon/Kevlar fiber composite materials.
Interior
Individual elements will be made of high quality leather and composite materials. The car is equipped with an audio system, electric windows and mirrors and air conditioning. For safety reasons – in case of a rollover – reinforced roll bars have been positioned behind the seats and both seats are equipped with 4-point seat belts.
Engine
An 8-cylinder 6.2-litre engine with a maximum power of 650HP and 820 Nm torque.
Wheels
19-inch wheels create additional space for an expanded braking system. Light-alloy wheels
with 255/35 R19 tyres (front) and 335/30 R19 (rear).
Brakes
Front wheels are equipped with 6-piston callipers and 380 mm brake discs. Rear wheels with 4-piston callipers and 350 mm brake discs.
Suspension
Independent, multi-link, optimized for high speed cornering.
Night vision camera
The car can be fitted with a night vision camera option, which monitors the area in front of the car at the distance of a few hundred metres. If the camera detects an object with a temperature exceeding the ambient temperature (presumably an animal or a human), the driver can see a bright and clear image of this object on a display located in the central console within normal sight line. This may significantly improve the safety level at night and when driving in fog as compared to xenon headlights.

2013 Arrinera Hussarya
Press release...
The revamped design which is currently being presented is a direct result of intense and consistent work carried out since 2008 – all aimed at creating the first Polish supercar. Arrinera Automotive has devoted 14 months to the development of the current design. During this time the Warsaw University of Technology (Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering), under the direct supervision of Dr. Janusz Piechna Ph.D. D.Sc., has conducted several tests including an aerodynamic test of the body structure at simulated speeds of 360 km/h.
“Arrinera Hussarya was created for automobile enthusiasts with a passion for fast and beautiful cars. For enthusiasts searching for intense emotions and a massive dose of adrenaline combined with the practicality of everyday solutions. With just a little extravagance mixed in for good measure.” - Lukasz Tomkiewicz (CEO)
Bearing in mind comfort, we have redesigned the cockpit. Thanks to this change, drivers will experience a carefully designed balance between an amplitude of area and that what is characteristic for the interior of a supercar. We have also raised the ground clearance and redesigned the doors so that they now open in a traditional manner (as opposed to the A.H.1 prototype).
Arrinera Hussarya has not changed its base dimensions. The refreshed design gives the impression of being “lighter” while at the same time, keeping up to date with the current trends in automotive design.
The inspiration for these design changes was air motion, which is why Arrinera Automotive has devoted so much time and effort to achieving aerodynamic perfection. As a result, the present design was largely “created by the flow of air streams moving around the body of the supercar” – Pavlo Burkatskyy (the Head Designer at Arrinera Automotive S.A.)
A countless number of mutually intersecting lines indicate the urge for constant movement. Lines intersect, disappear and re-emerge on the supercar’s body. The lines have no beginning, no end - each just caught in constant motion.
The wheel arches in the Arrinera Hussarya have been strongly accented emphasizing its stability and awesome power. This combination of a muscular form while still retaining a certain degree of lightness gives the Arrinera Hussarya the characteristics of a natural predator – strength and speed.
„The word Arrinera is derived from Basque and Italian, which in direct translation means - ‘truly streamlined’.” - Lukasz Tomkiewicz (CEO)
One of the many elements that will demonstrate the prestige of the Hussarya is an exclusive color palette, created especially for Arrinera Automotive by some of the world’s best known manufacturers of automobile paints.
Retractable spoilers
The Arrinera Hussarya supercar also comes equipped with two spoilers that serve as an additional air brake at speeds beyond 150 km/h. Activated by the brake pedal, spoilers deploys to an angle of 50 degrees to reduce braking distance. In the future these spoilers will also serve as elements of advanced active aerodynamics.
Limited edition 33 Series
Sometime between August and September 2012, Arrinera Automotive will unveil the 33 Series – a limited edition of the Arrinera Hussarya supercar which will be limited to 33 units. Unique equipment as well as, distinctive styling both for the interior and the body will set this top-of-the-line model apart from the “regular” Hussarya.
Customers ordering Arrinera Hussarya 33 will need to place a deposit in order to make a booking for the vehicle.
Production and testing
In 2011 Arrinera Automotive signed a letter of intent regarding the assembly of the Hussarya supercar by SILS Centre Gliwice, in Poland - a member of Ferrostaal Automotive GmbH based in Essen, Germany ( www.ferrostaal-automotive.com ). SILS Centre Gliwice has extensive experience in providing services to multinational automotive corporations as well as, all the proper certificates confirming the best quality of their services.
Arrinera Hussarya is scheduled for road and performance tests at the Applus IDIADA automotive research center in Spain. The vehicle will become available for purchase no earlier than at the end of 2013.
Arrinera Hussarya will be offered for both right and left hand traffic.

Some info on the prototype:
Poland?s Arrinera Hussarya Supercar Makes Auto Show Debut
The Hussarya supercar of Poland’s Arrinera has evolved considerably since the original concept was unveiled in 2011. While the original was criticized for being somewhat of a Lamborghini knockoff, the final version has turned out to be a handsome, well-proportioned machine that’s every bit as impressive as the cars coming out of Maranello and Sant'Agata. And the best part is that the Hussarya will have performance that matches its good looks.
Production of the Hussarya is slated to commence later this year, with testing of prototypes, like this one unveiled at the recent Poznań Auto Show in Poland, nearing the final stages. Helping with the testing, namely in the area of chassis development, is none other than Lee Noble, the founder of British supercar brand Noble.
According to the latest spec sheet, the Hussarya is powered by an 8.2-liter V-8 that delivers more than 800 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque. This engine sits in a bespoke chassis made from carbon fiber and Kevlar, and the lightweight materials are also used for the body to help keep weight down and rigidity up. Arrinera tells us that graphene, a lighter and stronger form of carbon construction, has also been employed for parts of the body.
To provide high-speed stability, the Hussarya features a number of aero elements including an active rear spoiler. This helps provide downforce at high speeds and under braking can maneuver to serve as an air brake.
Previous performance estimates based on a 650-horsepower output included a 0-60 mph time of 3.2 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 11 seconds flat and a top speed of about 211 mph. We suspect those numbers have been improved upon based on the car’s latest specifications. Sadly, we also suspect that the car’s 160,000 euro (approximately $169,115) starting price has also been altered.
Arrinera says the cars will be built to order, and anyone interested will need to front up a deposit. The company is yet to confirm what markets the Hussarya will be sold in but we do know the first 33 cars will be a special ‘launch’ edition infused with a bit of extra luxury regular versions will miss out on.
