I was down in Florida about two weeks ago and saw the sickest Mercedes I have ever seen. I drove by it a couple times, it was a SL 73, looked just like a regular SL but with sick stock rims. It was red with red and black stock mercedes rims. I honestly can't tell you much more other then it was SICK! I did a little research and found that there used to be a 1995 SL 73 and it had the engine they used to make the GTR a V12 and all this other crazy stuff, really fast. This car though had the body of a new SL roadster so I don't know what the deal is. Has anyone ever seen or heard anything about the Mercedes? I would love to know more about it!

as u said, the SL73 AMG was a special edition of the previous generation and NOT AVAILABLE IN THE STATES.

i'm guessing its one made by renntech since they are known to upgrade the cars in such fashion.

Of course there are a few, most of the time it involves emblem swapping i.e. s430 for s500 or s600 etc lol

It's a V-12, 7 liter from Renntech, they used to make them in the old body style; mid-ninety's. The car ran a 12.1 In one of the car mags. It was like $300,000. Mike Tyson had one.
