those wheels will not survive to production
interior looks nice though the center stack totally looks like they threw an ipad in at the end... very clean aesthetic though, i doubt anything remotely cf-ey will make it to production though outside of like maybe a factory accessory option
the evolution of the front grill is very welcome
now all thats left is to see these lapping the ring before we start to get very excited

That looks amazing!

Both the C7 Vette and NSX engineers followed racing protocol where the calipers are mounted to face toward the vehicle center to lower the moment of inertia.

Thank god for the NSX. Between the ho-hum "new" MDX and the ridiculously doomed pricing of the RLX, this is such good news.
I love those flying buttresses in the back of the car. The evolutionary front fascia is just perfect.

Well, I'll say again how it is great to see this.
But, like the LAST NSX concepts...I'm also getting ready for Honda to announce how they are not sending the car to production and effectively giving all fans a nice one-fingered salute.

Yep, I need a better paying job. If I could afford this, I would have already put a deposit down. The original concept looks good, but this just knocks it out of the park. Assuming the engine is up to par (if the rumors from ToV are true it will) then Honda/Acura seem to have their game back.

Looks like Acura put all their balls into this vehicle. Please, Acura, tell me you saved some of this design language/awesomeness for the TLX. Even 5% of it. Pleeeeease. I don't want another bulldozer grille or an edgy Solara makeover to fix it.

I'll take 2. Thanks.

Interior is so gorgeous.

Like the subtle changes in the front & rear. And love the interior. Hope that stays very close to production specs.

Am I the only one who thinks the rear end is now the only weak link? Still not liking it enough, just seems too convex against the rest of the car. Just nit-picking now, which is a good sign I suppose

I like the whole thing, in and out. Hell yeah!
Love it. NOT bland.
I'll take one, please.

Acura/Honda is back?
Love the car.

I am surprised how much negativity the Wanna be gear heads are giving this car. All the beak comments, wheel comments, styling is boring, rear is bland looks like accord, all hybrids suck, r8 copy, etc.
Makes me glad my opinions don't match up with typical Americans. I like everything about this car.
Funny these people have nothing bad to say about lambos, corvettes, or mustangs.

Most people think this NSX is great. We just hope it makes production...!
And honestly, would YOU have anything bad to say about a Corvette or Lamborghini?

The sizzle in the Steak
I don't think there are many that have bashed the NSX.
People have nit picked here and there. Complained about some elements of the design.
Complained about the far off mfg. date. Complained that it does not look like or carry the heritage of the old NSX. Complained about maybe a lack of power...etc and so on......but no one has bashed the NSX like the TL, RLX, ILX....etc.
Why? Because people are sensible, they know this car is nothing like the Acura's that have been...let's just say "not up to snuff".

And Moog did remind me of something: Does THIS iteration of the NSX...does THIS live up to the billing of the previous? Is it a Ferrari-fighter? Sadly, all indications are no.
It's unfortunate that Honda/Acura has taken the "NSX" namesake and made it into this. Still, given the lack of true high performance vehicles for the last several years...you can see just how starved the fans are because of all the excitement with this unveiling.
Still, if you think about it, this NSX is NOT a Ferrari-fighter...so, technically, it is not truly an upgrade or continuation of the racing heritage that the original was born from.
Food for thought. Still...I like this NSX.

Should they have called it something else...perhaps.
This is a sports car released from a car company that is still grappling with figuring out its identity. Is it a tier one luxury car company? A performance car company? A luxury on the cheap car company? A step up from Honda car company?
Acura does not know yet.
Perhaps it matches the aspects of this new NSX....it's out there on it's own.
It's no Ferrari fighter...don't compare it with that.
It's not out to be the best super car...so don't do a comparison here.
It's not out to be like its predecessor....so don't compare it with the old NSX.
Like with the majority of the Acura line-up....they are sort of on their own.
...but rest assured, it will be a nice car....no doubt.....the best thing Acura has put out in a decade +.

Mid-engined exotic?
Again, let me be really clear, I love this iteration of the NSX...it LOOKS great. But, does it have the performance to live up to its origins?

we dont really have any performance specs to comment properly on that right?
we have some drivetrain numbers so we know itll be in the realm of the r8/911 crowd though not exactly an enzo/p1 fighter.
i mean what really made the original NSX so brilliant, nostalgia goggles not withstanding?
what did the NSX accomplish then that this car wont? and what did it accomplish that is no longer realistic to do?
not attempting to make a statement here,
rather im actually curious since some of you know alot more about this then i do/were cognoscente when the NSX was released

The original has some Italian roots because it was Pininfarina that was approached to design the look. After approving of the look, Honda's next edict to its engineers was that it was to be as good as ANYTHING from Italy or Germany.
That's some tall order from a company known to make Civics and Accords. The benchmark was the iconic Ferrari 328 (can you say that is the case for this iteration of the NSX? No.)...
Honda also pushed the envelope with this car back then because the NSX was the first production vehicle to have an all-aluminium body...Add that to a mid-engined design and voila...you have a true exotic. From Japan. I'm not kidding when I said it was made to stick-it to Enzo Ferrari. It was reported that Enzo was actually livid that the NSX out-performed his 328 by some people in Japan...

it's suggested that the NSX will have eSH-AWD, no?
I expect it to have amazing performance. No, it won't put the GT-R's price to performance ratio to shame, but it will be unexpected for a brand that has made nothing but luxury sedans and crossovers for the past decade (2005-2015)

Back to the namesake...As I think more about it, this is where the marketing team at Honda could have done better.
Can you imagine one day down the road, Lamborghini decides to remake the Aventador and it comes out not as a BETTER car than the original with more envelope-pushing but instead, a mere BMW M3 fighter?
Kinda an insult to the original, no?
Should've called this new NSX something else. But, whatever...I'm nitpicking.
