Acura DN-X

I guess the Honda DualNote is now being hailed as a concept under the acura nameplate. I wonder this means for the future.

And should this have any bearing whatsoever on the next NSX, they stick a manual in that fucker!

Old news...really old news...but I'm anxious to see what Honda does. They were the first to unviel this technology but Lexus already has plans for a similar platform in the RX330. So why is it taking Honda so long? I get the feeling something big is coming for the next TL (otherwise, why would they keep the engine and drivetrain a secret this long?) but IMA seems unlikely for some reason. Maybe the next NSX will start the trend...but that's annoying...the best selling lux SUV gets it (RX330) but over at Honda, only their sky high exotic car?
We can only wait and see.

So I know the dual note is old news, like over a year old. But is the fact that it was moved under Acuras name old news too? if so sorry.

DualNote was introduced to the American market as Acura Dn-X in 2002. I think it was NY auto show.

Its called DualNote in Japan and Acura Dn-X here. It was never under Honda division in the American market.

T'would be nice if it were true. We'll just have to see.

But again, Lexus adds this technology to it's best selling (and affordable) RX330 and makes the technology available to everyone. Acura sticks it in their most expensive sedan? Very few people will be able to experience an RL IMA. If they stuck it in a more affordable TL first and gain a reputation there, then it will be in demand for the other models. Just a thought.

Yeah but like most things Im sure it will start in the RL and then trickle down the line as more awareness and notice is taken by normal non-forum browsing consumers. Just another thought
