What the automaker says:"The '06 Impala and Monte Carlo wear a new look, both inside and out, that conveys sophistication and exudes big-car roominess."
What you should know: Chevy woos fans of big power with an optional 303-hp, 5.3-liter V-8 in it's mid-sized cars.
Production possibility: Production starts next summer

So basically they took the front of the new Impala (at least from the spy shot) and put it on the Monte Carlo while the rear remains the same. How innovative.

They screwed up by glueing the new front end of the impala on the fairly ugly old monte carlo. If they made a coupe out of the new impala with this interior/front end it would have been a nice car.

I am sure these are "freshenings". Let's hope the next gen. will be more promising.

You can see the smiliarites with the interiors of both the Impala and Monte Carlo. The Impala was done much nicer, both inside and out. The Monte's interior doesn't impress me the same way Impala's did. With the Impala's, I was like, "woah." With this one, I'm thinking, "Good try... not bad." The exterior rear of this car is horrible, still though.
