$32000 out the door for regular 04 tl

I was driving around in San Francisco when I saw the 04 tl. I followed the car and caught the car at a stoplight. There was one guy driving and a lady in the back both looked like some acura bosses or something. The guy knew I was following him so he roll down the window as I gave him the thumbs up. The lady in the back told me to get one as soon as possible. The driver then told me the best thing about these car is it costs 32,000 out the door for a regular automatic version loaded. BTW the car looks alot smaller than the previous TL and very sporty.

BTW, what were you driving? Whatever it was, they must have thought it "rated."

A lot of us on here are going to be thrilled to hear that price -- but we shouldn't count on that. Gotta say it sounds low, even assuming it doesn't include tax.

P.S. I thought that when we say "OTD" we're including tax. Obviously in Cali there's no way anything close to $32K could include tax.

Do most of you include tax in your "OTD" numbers??

Speaking of numbers, in a couple of years are you planning to change your name to BONDS756HRS?

(Nah, forget about it, I'm doing too much off-topic baseball as it is.)

I include it. Add 8.25% sales tax + 2% to the DMV as of Oct. 1.

Sounds like it will be about $39k w/Navi/5AT OTD here.

Yeah. I suspect it varies as to whether people include tax in their "OTD" figures, so we always have to wonder.

I doubt that Bonds73 was including tax in the "OTD" even though maybe most people do, because then the figure would be completely absurd. But it seems impossibly low even without tax.

$32,000? In my dreams.

TOV is claiming that the MSRP will be $32,650, with an additional $545 destination charge, which totals ~$33,200. They claim to have gotten this information from a dealer who received a few TL's this morning.

I was expecting more like $33,600 out the door - so I am happy.

That guy doesn't know what he's talking about. He probably stole the TL and bought the woman!

That is where the dealers meet, but the track was to be setup in the parking lot of the stadium. I forgot where I read that.
