XM Radio receiver for home use

Can the XM Commander be used with a home stereo system? If so, what else is needed? A power supply (AC adapter)? Or, is some other XM Sat. Radio more suited for home use?

I am considering going ahead and buying an XM Commander and using it in the house until my TSX arrives and then move it to the car.
