wiring sub question
i just got a new box for my sub that i've had for a couple years already in my car. i forgot which one on the speaker wire from the amp is positive and which one is negative. my installer put my amp behind my seats i believe, so i'm unable to get to it with ease. i'm just wondering what will happen if i plug my box in backwards and have the pos in the neg and neg in the positive terminal. it sounds fine right now, so thats why i think i'm ok, but i just wanted to check to make sure i dont blow up my sub. thanks. sorry if that was confusing.

If you switch the polarity, then the sub will pull in rather than push out. I think you might be able to figure it out if you hook it up and see the sub going in rather than going out. Someone correct me if i'm wrong

Use a tone generator or just a battery, if u know what ur doing
if not just bring it to a shop and they'll do it for u. (if they try to charge more then five bux run away very fast)
