Window Roll Up Module w/Remote Start
I'm pretty sure its possible...but I wanted to make sure.
I want to use the factory keyless entry remote...for remote start and an automatic window roll up module...you know when I press lock the windows automatically roll up and the sunroof closes.
I would be willing to sacrifice the panic button on the remote. Anybody have this done?

I seriously doubt it can be done. You'd have to get the remote to signal an aftermarket alarm system. How would you tune the factory remote to "talk" to the aftermarket alarm brain?
I honestly think it would easier to figure out how to get an aftermarket alarm fob to access the memory seat function, as that's the only thing you need.

dei makes an add on remote starter that you can use w/ any factory security system...I just ordered mine two days ago. I believe its dei model 551T...make sure it says add on remote starter...however I don't think you will ever be able to add the window/sunroof feature...good luck though

It's just a module for the windows UP. The DEI Valet Remote start and keyless can do it.
I have the Alarm with many modules added for features like windows up and down via remote

I have the viper790xv DEI alarm with window module. I don't think you can do it with a factory remote though. I also have sun roof activation, but as my cousin tells me our car is very weird. The sunroof for some reason needs to see ignition before it will work so I need to remote start my car before i can open it by remote.

It can be done, BUT, the range on the factory remote is EXTREMELY limited. We have done the 551t as well as the window module, and trust me, with the factory remote it is totally NOT WORTH IT.
I'd personally just get a the 552T and the window module and hook that all together. It will save headaches later on.

Thanks for the helps guys.

Here's the problem using the factory remote.....you will have to hit the lock button 3 times consecutively in order to trigger the remote start. At least that's how we set the 551T up. Anyway, go outside and hit the lock button on the remote 3 time relatively quickly and see if it locks the same everytime....IT WON'T. Plus, try doing that from inside the house. TRUST ME, you'll be MORE THAN disappointed with the results.
The 552T is the next step up from the 551T. It's isn't an ADD ON unit, it is a full function remote start, not an alarm, and it comes with two of it's own remotes. The window module is a seperate piece.
We carry all these parts if you guys ever need them, just email info@streeteffectz.com or call 732-388-7000

So it looks like I need the 552....and then the window module, but I need to use the new remote.
That remote will be just for the remote start/windows though right? I can still use my factory remote for everything else?
