I have a '01 TL w/navi, and am going to buy an Alpine 620. I was wondering where all of you mount the changer? Is there any special mounting hardware? Where are dealer-installed changers mounted? Along side the navi?

I would screw the changer directly into the casing around the navi. Thats how I did mine. I will take a pic of it if you like

mine is in the trunk...but i want to move it into the passengers seat...

Mine's under the passenger seat. I like it there cause I can change cartridges without getting out of the car.

 

mine is in the trunk on the left standing up. I only change cd's in the changer like every 2 months or so, that's why it's so cool to have the 6 in the back and 1 in the front.

Streetz, I like that spot for mounting, but....

I already have trouble getting larger packages in the trunk because of the navigation unit. Adding something that is mounted below that will just make it harder. Just a thought.

Something else for the people thinking about mounting theirs in that spot to think about.
