Angry Where to run 0 guage power wire through firewall

So for the last two hours I have been fighting trying to find a good place to run my power wire through the firewall on my 2000 TL. Been trying to get the rubber groumet out that is by the emergency brake pedal... No luck. Tried to pull it out from the engine side, no luck. Tried carefully drilling a hole through the rubber... No luck. I think it chewed up the black tape around the wires as there was black stuff all over my fingers. I didn't feel any wires that it cut into so hopefully it didn't. Has anyone done this? I searched several times and the only one I have found is for the tsx, nothing for the TL.

I ran two 0-gauge wires thru the firewall. I couldn't get a drill in there because the space is so tight. So I just took a dremel, went in the engine compartment and cut a hole thru the firewall using a metal cutting disc. Very quick and easy. I cut a custom rubber grommet to fit the hole and sealed it with silicone afterwards.
