imo, i think facing a sealed sub towards the cabin is a bad idea. I tried this setup with the sub directly behind the pass through (open and closed) and with the sub placed as far to the rear of the car as possible. both configs sounded probably cleaner, and more responsive to frequency range, but signifantly weaker than a rear-facing sealed box setup.
the rattle pisses me off though. I get lots of trunk vibration only at specific frequencies (probably in the 30s-low 40s). I doubt i'll ever be completely rattle-free... which is depressing..

anyone know how to get the license plate from vibrating against the car? I'm currently using 2-layers of masking tape, but it looks ghetto and doesn't work all that well...
