what a good low-end amp?

i want a amp for a single sub, so i guess it can be a mono. i only want 300 watts...give or take.

im not crazy about sound, i just want it to hit. so i dont need anything too expensive

Pioneer x720 is good for what you want.

how much do they run for street?

I just installed a Pioneer Premier 12" sub in a custom box with a Rockford 55.2 Amp. in my '01 CLS. It puts out more than enough for the stock system.
