I'm thinking of buying the Flame Q 12' for about $150. Has anyone heard anything good or bad about these?

Here are some specs: RMS 50-1100, SPL 96.4 efficiency, dual voice coil 4 ohm, 120 0z magnet, one year warranty.

 

As far as their subs go , the real claim to fame is in their titanium series. Although I have never heard the Flame series, I took a look at the specs and they seem pretty decent. What are you looking to power these with and also what do you want out of your subs? SQ? SPL?

This would be my first step in the complete audio upgrade. I already have the Infinity Kappas 61/2 components for front and Kappas 3 way for rears. After speaking to Crutchfield (which I don't think know much) said that they are better than the Infinity Perfect 12" that I originally wanted.....Crutchfield price is $289, I can get them from my sshopping club for 153 plus shipping....and they double the warranty which would be 2 years then. The amp I'll be powering with will be Rockford Fos. Punch 500S. Thank u for any info u can give me.

 

I think audiobahn has excellent marketing, and decent sound.

 

So maybe I should stick with Infinity Perfect 12.1 dvc.
