What To Do With A Blown Sub?

is there anything you can do with a blown sub? i have a polk audio mm12 in a sealed factory inclosure that is blown. is there a way i can fix this?

called them and they told me that if i bought it from an certified dealer they would replace it if it was within 3 yrs. just have to send them a proof of purchase. if not they would give me half off the price of new replacement since i already have the box. they quoted me $250 for a new one so it would be $125.

Thats good to know! did u get it from an authorized dealer or thru ebay?

got it though ebay. but i just got and jl w6v2. no contest. that thing shakes my trunk so much i thought it was going to fall off. i just hate to think that the polk momo is a paper weight. might just have my friend buy the new sub at half price and give him the box.

yeah sounds like a good plan! I've got a 10W6v2, still runnin the stock HU, did u get the 12" or the 10"?

i have the 12 in a huge ported box. i am thinking about putting it in a sealed box cause at times it seems to boomy for my tastes. is yours sealed or ported? did you dynamat your trunk. my rattles like a mother.

mine is in a Sealed box. There is barely any rattle, you can hear it loud n clear inside, but not too much outside. It's discrete, just the way i like it

i got most of teh stuff installed, My headunit hasn't come in yet, and my buddy from florida (darkshear) should be hear in a week or so, his plans got delayed. I'll have new pics of my trunk soon
