called them and they told me that if i bought it from an certified dealer they would replace it if it was within 3 yrs. just have to send them a proof of purchase. if not they would give me half off the price of new replacement since i already have the box. they quoted me $250 for a new one so it would be $125.

got it though ebay. but i just got and jl w6v2. no contest. that thing shakes my trunk so much i thought it was going to fall off. i just hate to think that the polk momo is a paper weight. might just have my friend buy the new sub at half price and give him the box.

mine is in a Sealed box. There is barely any rattle, you can hear it loud n clear inside, but not too much outside. It's discrete, just the way i like it
