well just bought 5 gallons of resin.... project to begin soon...

picked up 5 gallons of resin in order to start my project. still awaiting my fiberglass mat to begin but i will post pics once i get started.

i don't really need the 5 gallons but it was the same price as 2 gallons. i'll have pictures in a lil i need another opinion first.

ha if i had the time and the money i would make a fiberglass body instead of metal to save the few pounds i can. im doing 2 opposing boxes in my trunk like the guy in the tsx did. i'll se how it turns out. i need to get glass ordered on monday.

You should have a local supply house for the fiberglass matte or strands itself - especially in Toms River - a local Marine supply perhaps?

im ordering from a place called uscomposites it has the cheapest prices i have seen. im going with 1/5 ounce chop mat. thats what seems like a good choice from what i have gathered.

60 bucks for 5 one gallon cans. each can usually runs 30 bucks.
