I'm looking for specs on the wiring and lcd controller for the stock nav on my 99 TL, or to put it bluntly I need to find a way use the stock monitor as an ordinary video monitor. I honestly don't have much use for a nav system anymore

and it has functionality similar to what I want but it's a tad on the pricey side and I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be something that I could hack together in my shop. (of course I could be very, very wrong on that point.)

Any advice or directions to related threads would be very helpful and much appreciated.
