USA Spec PA15-HON2 Issue- PLEASE help!

Most of the time when I connect my ipod to the USA Spec adapter it automatically turns on my radio and runs perfectly fine; however, every once in a while it doesn't for what ever reason. I attach my ipod and it says 'connected to adapter' (when running normally it just displays the song choice or ipod menu) but there is no response. I try pressing all the button on my radio and ipod and I get nothing. Then the next day, I try again and it works! What gives? Does anyone else experience this this sporadic issue and have a solution?

I have not had that problem but I have noticed it sometimes takes longer then usual for it to recognize. Usually just unplugging it, turning off the ipod and then plugging it back in has worked for me. What iPod are you using?

I do have a weird problem occasionally with shuffling music with my USA Spec. When I choose "Shuffle Songs" on my iPod and then use the steering wheel controls to change to the next track instead of going to the next track it goes back to the first song alphabetically. I am sick and tired of hearing Aerosmith! when all I want to do is shuffle to the next track. Anyone else have this happen to them?
