The Mitsubishi Electronics is separate from their Automotive division, regardless if they were offered or not on their own cars. Honda actually makes electronic components as well... I was able to find electronic connector plugs.

Amazing -- anything we ask, somebody here knows about it.
Except if it's a question about Nav.

Quick history lesson-
The Original "Mitsubishi" was a huge mega-conglomerate before WWII. After the U.S. dropped the bomb and subsequently rebuilt the country into a democracy, they split Mitsubishi into 200 different independent companies. Today, a good number of them are still operating, and 40 of them actually still carry the name Mitsubishi.
MELCO (Mitsu Electric) and Mitsu Motors are strategic partners, but are nonetheless two different companies. In the past, MELCO has supplied a lot of engine control units to Honda, and also does a ton of business with DiamlerChrysler.

I work for a Printing company, and the Inkjet paper we buy is actually made by Mitsubishi. Pretty good quality and much cheaper than OEM Epson paper. I was surprised at the range of products they offer.

At first i gave Samsung the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was a defect of that one batch. But then the other day i was at a big screen TV store. I was looking at the digital HDTV's. I them compared a samsung to a toshiba and holy crap! The samsung TV's had very poor clarity. Both tv's were the same specs, and same size. Man... i dunno... then the receptionist at my office asked me to take a look at a problem with her car. It was making a noise. The car drove like it was 8 years old. It was only a 2000. I dunno... based on my personal experience, i seem to have trouble liking Korean brands now. I'm not trying to bash or be prejudice, i'm just going by personal experience. Anyone experience anyhting like this with Korean brands? or do i just have a lot of bad luck?
