tsx dynamat

has anyone here dynamatted their tsx? I was wondering if this was something that someone unexperienced could do by themselves

good question. read thorugh the posts that show how to take things apart (the faq for the SHOND, posts showing door disassembly and amp wiring).

If you think you can do that, then you can.

I was looking through it but I didn't see any pics in how to take off the carpet on the top of the trunk I see like three screws but thats it.

Eld, do you think Dynamatting a trunk will improve the bass inside the car? or is that stuff more of a gimic.

I think that it can make it sound a bit better, and relatively louder, by lowering the noise floor while moving and making some sounds more noticeable as a result, but I've seen some somewhat outrageous claims about dB increases from sound damping.
