!!!For those who kept their stock radios!!!!!!

When sending the output signal to the amps, did you use a hi-low converter from the radios factory signal, or did you interrupt the signal going to the speakers and use that. Thanks in advance.

i took the signal after the bose amp. it sounds good except for the slight hiss which i believe is caused by the LOC. the hiss is not noticeable when driving and when i have the music turned up. i just need to freakin get rid of that alternator noise that has showed up the past couple of weeks. had no time to do it yet. some other folks have taken the signal right out of the stereo. but in this case, i think the signal is just too weak....but they say it's a cleaner signal.

According to the people at Bose, the signal coming out of the back of the head unit does not have EQ applied to it yet; this makes it a better place for most people to tap into the signal.

You'll need a line output converter made for Bose head units, the two that seem to come up on a regular basis when talking to installers are the
SoundGate LOCB (you'll need to buy two) or the AudioLink PD4.

I went with the AudioLink because it has adjustable pre-amp outputs and plugs directly into the factory harness.

Hope this helps.

When I did my install on my CL-S I used a crystalline driver right after the head unit b4 the blows amp....
I ran that signal into an alpine eq/sub controller and had fantastic sound
