thinking of changing from kenwood 911

I have the kenwood 911 dvd and the kenwood 9044 e.q. I love the sound with the e.q. I also have cadence comp. insides with tweeters and a jl13w7 pushed by a kicker 1200 mono class D. My question is, i like the new kenwood double din and was wondering if anyone has this unit, what did you do about the e.q. if you have subs. did you just move the e.q. or go with a cross over.

I am seriously into sound clearity so my e.q. is a big part of my system

You should use both..

An equalizer is for changing your sound response.. changing the sound of your music etc..

A crossover is for protecting your speakers from frequencies they can't handle.. Its also used to get better imaging by only sending certain frequencies to the ideal speakers
