Thin subs

i have been researching alot in subs and sounds systems, so i decided i wanted to save my spear tire but have as much trunk room as possible. just wondering have any of you guys tryed any of those thin subs in a trunk that alpine pioneer rockford offer? if you guys had how was the turn out in sound with kick and thump

ive sen um, but the thing with bass is that a sub's ability to make bass is its ability to push air, and thats factored in by its cone area and its linear excursion, regular subs do it just fine, but the thin ones lack the linear excursion of the full size models, so really it wont be as good as a full length sub of equal size
