Swap Navi for a computer
I need some advice for a carputer. I was thinking about taking out my factory navigation unit, and replacing it with a car computer. Does this sound like a reasonable idea? The screen would then be bigger, and instead of just navigation, I would have a full computer. Does anyone know how to take out the navigation? I would like to have navigation with the computer. Can I use the existing antenna?

Sorry. I have a 2003 Acura TL. Basically, I figured, I could sell my navi system and use the money to put in a computer instead. I just need to figure out how the whole navi system works. Can I use the OEM GPS unit or do I need to buy a new one?

Yeah, I never use the manual a/c functions, so I figured it would be ok. I'm mostly worried about what components need to be removed, so I can sell the navigation unit, and what I'll need to purchase besides the computer, to have navigation in the car again.
