Sunglasses holder mods

Has anyone put a XM radio tuner or any kind of audio mod in their sunglasses holder? Is it poosible? Will it still fold out of sight?

There is a XM satellite controller about the same size as that changer controller. Do you think you could put it in the suglassholder without that kit? I have seen some people put that afc controller in there but I am not sure if they can still fold up their sunglass case. That is what I am looking to do
