suggestions on good stereos?
as i was taking out my set of 6 cd's for rotation, my very last cd got stuck! i tried pulling it out but it seemed to only make it worse. i took it to the dealer, and they quoted me 500 bucks to repair! wtf?
anyway, i'm sure if i take it to a local shop, they can do it for a lot less. does anyone know of a good audio shop around the east bay, cali?
i might even opt to get a whole new head unit instead if it's gonna cost that much. can anyone recommend a good stereo or setup?
thanks!

I think for the price, features and quality Pioneer is the route I would take. Alpine is known for leading the industry with quality but of course for a price. If you want more features for your money than I would go with a good Pioneer unit, if price isnt too much of an issue then you can go with Alpine.

PM KahRupt and see if he still has it. It's a single cd, but one of the coolest HU. I have the same one without the CD. And a trunk mount changet ain't that expensive. Plus you can hook up a navi or dvd to this monitor.
I've seen this one, and he takes care of his stuff.
Happy hunting.
