Question Subs

I want to add a couple of subs to the system. Is it easy to get to the stock amp behind the seat, and is using the stock lines the way to go. Are those converters worth using? And does anyone know the stock wire diagram for the rear amp?? Thanks in advance.

I'll check my helm to see if I have the diagram and I'll post it if I do. As far as subs go I would add a additional amp if you were going to add a bigger sub in back.

I installed door speakers, 2 amps and a sub and I didn't use any wires from the stock amp. In fact, I took it out of the car! You could splice into the orange wire (before it gets to the amp) and attach a turn-on lead to that, it's 12V Switched!

I acctually already have the amp (failed to mention that) I was asking to see if it was worth using the the stock cables to convert to RCA to plug in the amp. TL Daddy what did you use for your signal? Did you keep the stock HU?? I want to keep the stock unit so I have to get my signal from there or from the back of the radio.

Mtoker I would greatly appreciate that info if you can get it!! Thanks all for the reply.
