Sub Choice...Need Opinions

Let me know what you all think of these four subs. They are all shallow mount subs that will fit what I need them to, .7 enclosure, 5.5" deep with 195 watts @ 2ohm.

Arc Audio 10D4 v2 $199 shipped
Image Dynamics IDQ10 D4 v2 $140 shipped
Elemental Designs 11Kv.2 D4 $115 shipped
CDT Audio CL-1015 $96 shipped

All are from factory dealers with full warranty.

Let me know if you have heard any of them.

I'd throw in the DLS MW110 - I think it fits that depth listing. Singe VC 4 ohm.

Of those I've heard the ID and it's a good woofer, but I hear it needs LOTs of power. Someone here has heard the Ed, but it's not me...

I have heard the IDQ and Arc but, they were the V1 of both subs. The Arc actually sounds better. I have heard very mixed reviews of the CDT. The speakers are suppose to be really good but, the subs are not so good.

EL...The DLS looks good but, with a single 4 ohm voice coil, I would only have 100 watts for it. I have an Arc Audio 5150XXK that will put out 195 @ 2ohms but, only 100 @ 4. Does that sub come in a 2 ohm or dual 4?

I've heard of arc and ID, however I'm not really familiar with them. They seem like deccent cheap subs. But depending on the quality you want, you may want to go for a bit more reputable company.

Both Arc and ID are reputable companies. The ID is not a cheap sub. I don't know the Arc sub personally but they are all ex-Zapco so I don't think it would suck...

The new shallow mount subs from Diamond do look pretty good. I had not seen those. None of the regular D3 or D6 will fit.

I thought about the JL but, I hate to buy the cheapest JL sub just because it works.
