I was wondering how much one of Ron's custom trunks run for. How much would it cost me if I supplied him with the speakers and the amp. I have 2 15's and a 1400w amp with a 1.5 farad cap. I was wondering what possibilities I would have with neons and a basic setup (ie Ernies setup). How much would something like this cost?

It all depends on how you want the trunk layed out. I can tell you that something like ernies WITH all the neon and materials (wood, paint, vinyl, plexi glass,etc etc), $4000 area. The equipment you have is less complicated that ernie's setup, any ideas on how you want it done?

 

I want my subss to be angled up with maybe a black light or a neon rod and I want the amp to be layed out in front of the subs. The cap I want off to one side and on the other side I want to leave open for my DVD/PS when I'm ready to put it in. I also want the neons to shine in front of the amp or behind it, and one on each side (on top of the cap and the DVD/PS). How much am i looking at?

 

Sealed sub enclosure I assume? What would you want the trunk finished off in, carpet, vinyl, glassed and painted?

 

Yes, I want the subs sealed off for good deep sound and I want the trunk to be finished off in either blue/black vinyl or blue/black cloth.

 

With all materials and labor, I'd estimate in the $1500 area or so...it really depends on how intricate (or not) we get and the overall design layout.
