Does anyone know the S/N of the 6 disc cd player for the stock deck?

if you still have that little card the dealer gave you when you purchased your car....."Anti theft Radio Identification card", it should be on there. if not, the only way to get it is to pull out the hu or you could call the dealer you bought your car from, give them the vin, and they might be able to tell you the s/n.

Thanks for the reply icy CL, but I wasn't referring to the serial number....oops...I meant signal to noise ratio of the CD player.

Didn't you know everything related to stock system is rated "TOP SECRET"?

SilverKnight - So I guess this means that no one knows and/or the specs are not published? I just wanted to know b/c I was wondering if it would make a dramatic difference if I changed the HU and I primarily play my burned CDs.

So far, no one knows the real numbers. I saw a couple posts with numbers but those were guesstimate with no fact to back them up.
