Stock cell phone antenna question

I was told that the little antenna in the back on the roof on the 03TLS w/navy is for the cell phone used with on-star. Does anybody know if thats true and if yes can't we tap in to that to connect to a hands free kit???

im sure u can splice into it but i doubt you will get more then 2 or 3 db gain in signal ....... if u want better reception you will need to get a boooster.
