Stock Alarm have an Aux Output?
Does the stock alarm system in the TSX have an auxiliary output? I couldn't find this information anywhere in the user manual. Thanks.

That remote start is programmable to start off of two or three lock pulses (your choice) close together. I've seen that done on a Ford OEM KE... just honks when it's starting, which is not the worst thing in the world.

I was trying to install the DEI 561T and it says it needs a aux port, but I didn't want to ask eldurdino since I've bothered him enough already so I just asked here. So the remote start keeps on honking until the car is started by me?

If you set it to three pulses you get two honks on start. If you set it to two pulses you get one honk on start.
The alternative is to use a timer to re-route your trunk pop output so that if it's pressed within x seconds of lock you get car start. That requires a timer (DEI calls it a pulse timer relay). You cut the wire to the solenoid and run it through the relay and it re-routes it for you when the timer triggers. The trick in this case is setting it up so that the install doesn not create a situation where setting your elbow on the lock button and then popping the trunk by hand doesn't start the car... a bit tricky but do-able.
You could also get rid of the honk-on-two-lock-presses with a pulse timer relay. I've not heard of anyone doing it, but you could break the horn line out of the ECU for a second or so after lock. The only hard part about that would be finding the horn OP from the ECU... not that difficult, since worstt-case you know where the horn is (preferably you'd hit the horn line from the ECU to the relay, not the output from the relay to the horn...)
Hope that helps : )

Helps a lot, always a great help!!
Just out of curiosity why can't the panic button be used?
Hrm...apparently the shop that I called won't install remote starts to stock alarms because he says it doens't work very well.
Anyone have good suggestions for an affordable alarm with remote start? The place I called offered me a Phython 1600 375 installed, but I don't know if its a good alarm or not.

Python, Viper, Directed, Sidewinder - it's all the same gear wearing different T-shirts. Pythons think they are Vipers. check www.directed.com and look for your model, I don't know the number.
The panic button is not a distinct output from the ECU, it's a collection of reactions. THe ECU decides what happens when you press a KE button, and you don't want the panic reaction, trust me. A lock reaction has minimal bad side effects...

How is the Viper 791VX or Autopage RS 855LCD? Wouldn't want to buy it without elduderino's opinion
Found someone selling them on ebay for fairly cheap, probably cost another 200 to install it.

I have no experience with Autopage recently. I have heard both ways but no personal knowledge.
If you buy Viper on eBay you get no warranty from Viper - neither the HW warranty nor the GPP deductible coverage for 1 year.
I would talk to your installer because I bet that you're not saving that much on HW - the install is probably the biggest cost.

Oh thanks a lot for the heads up, guess I'll just have the installer do everything. Unfotunately at all the systems I'm looking at it will cost me 600 buxs which is over my budget. So guess I'll have to save up or just get the remote start add on, thanks a lot for your help!
