Stereo/Radio Unlock

So for my first car, I was lucky enough to get a used 2000 Acura TL. I've had it for some time now and I've experience no problems whatsoever until recently. My battery was dead so I jumped it, and ever since then the stereo/radio has been locked.
Unfortunately I don't know the stereo/radio serial number and don't know where to get. Can someone tell me where to retrieve this information.
Also, I've read in the forums that even when I do put in the code, the stereo/radio refuses to take it. What do I do in that case?

Much appreciate all the feedback in this forum.

try this thread...

https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/fixed-radio-refuses-take-radio-code-700000/

if that doesn't work...last time i took off the center trim panels ( just carefully pry the two fake wood trim off each side of the radio )...i noticed a sticker with the code on the radio.
