Stereo Lead(s) Question

Okay everyone I'm working on integrating a hands free setup into my car stereo.

Right now I'm just looking to tap into the stock stereo. I've looked over the schematics in the HELM's manual and I think I found what I need.

There are four leads going into the stereo from the navigation unit (GND, L+, R+, and MUTE). Since I don't have the navigation I won't be conflicting with anything. My question though is, how does the MUTE lead function? Does it need to be pulled low or high to MUTE the stereo?

Also on the L+ and R+ leads are these RCA compatible?

Thanks in advance for whomever can answer this.

Laters all,
Brenden

Have you looked at the wiring harness. I just wanna give you a head up. The stock HU has the connections. You are gonna have to supply the terminals. From what I saw in the schematic and someone said it, MUTE needs to be pulled high.
