Spoiler burned out from Subs?

Spoiler burned out from Subs?

Hey guys, has any of you had a spoiler burn out due to the rattle from you subs? My spoiler would hella rattle, and now the l-e-d-s are not longer working. What can I do.

I don't know about that. Maybe you have a loose connection. I have two 12 inch subs in my Nissan and I went through the phase where everything had to be base heavy, and no problems with the bulbs. Disconnect it and test to see if you're getting power to the leds. Or just reconnect the one on the rear deck. What kind of subs and how much power are you talking? Do your lights tend to dim way below normal? Since the leds on the spoiler is really only used when you use the brake, I would think it is a loose connection somewhere.

On a different note....6 trannies, 2 cars. You're die-hard man!

I only have one JL 12. I guess I will check the wires, and see if maybe they are loose. Thanks
