speaker upgrade
 

I have an 02 non type s tl. My question is if i can just drop in door speakers or do i have to modify anything. I read they were 6 1/2 in front and rear doors.l

all i did to do mine was get 1" spacers and put in my 6 1/2" jl's

ne 1 no if the 165 kr2 fit with no problems

so the kr2 werent that much of a problem just threw them in the rear doors since i couldnt find a spot to put the tweets...sounds good so far but i still neeed to adjust eq settings

I have the 165w utopia's in the door w/tweeters in the stock location and the polyglass 6x9's in the back. The k2's should fit with no problem.

Ot all depends on what you're gonna install. Anyway, if you're thinking on components, your gonna have to cut, even if your using 3/4" spacers
