speaker help

well as some of you remember i had that jensen vm8312 screen then sold it... now i got a pioneer 600ub.
the power output is as follows:
* Peak: 50 watts x 4 channels
* RMS: 22 watts x 4 channels

i have a 03 acura TL-S with stock speakers and stock sub... i wired up the wire harness from the HU to the meta kit and then wired up the sub output from the HU into the factory amp for the sub... but the stock speakers are pushing out bass... what did i do wrong???

im thinking about upgrading the four speakers (front and back) with some after market speakers which are around 30rms so i dont have to add on an amp...

example of some of the speakers i was thinking about:
Blaupunkt PSx652N http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...t+PSx652N.html

Pioneer TS-G1641R http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...TS-G1641R.html

Take the time and do it right. Add an amp and get a decent pair of components. It doesn't even need to be that expensive.

A good pair of components amped will sound a lot better the low end coax speaker any day.

May I suggest this:

http://www.edesignaudio.com/product_...roducts_id=659

A killer package and will sound worlds better then those speakers you picked out.

If you're working with a cheaper budget - let me know and I'll put something else together...

Also what HU do you have. What EQ settings are you currently using?

What are your overall goals with this system?

im looking for a cheaper system than that... maybe like 1 12in in the trunk and four door speakers at 50rms (with a 4ch amp for them and a 1ch amp for the sub?)

i liked how the stock HU and stock speakers and stock sub sounded... but i wanted to add in mp3 player and usb input...

so i went with the Pioneer DEH-P600UB - http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...ers/DEH-P600UB

all im wanting to get out of this system is some decent sound and bass so when i drive around i can listen to my music (not play it all loud so everyone down the block can hear it too)...

I always liked this page for good, somewhat dated info:
