Are Speaker Baffles useful to cut noise?

My component speakers up front make the doors rattle sometimes, depending on the song. Sure, I could take the door apart and see what's loose; but I don't have the time (and I don't think I would be able to find it). Plus, the door only rattles with music on...

Are speakers bafles such as these useful at all?

No. They put your speaker in a very small enclosure which then would require EQ'ing to make sound right again.

I suspect that you have a popped heat weld on the back of the door pocket... that's what I had and I fixed it with a soldering torch.

Thanks for clearing that up!
