Some Opinions

I am trying to decide on a new sub for our new Honda Pilot. I have narrowed it down to the ones below. Let me know what you would pick. Will be powered with 250 @ 4ohms or 500 @ 2ohms. Thanks.

Boston Pro 10.5
Image Dynamics IDQ
Kicker Solo round
Infinity Perfect

I have Boston Pro 6.5 up front and my first choice is Boston but, they are also alot more expensive than the other three.

I have a depth maximum that I am working with. I would love to go with a 10W6V2 but, way too deep. I think the Eclipse is too deep as well but, I have not been able to find a depth on it. I need under 6" depth and closer to 5" would be better. IDQ, Boston Pro, and the Kicker round Solo all fit the bill. I think the JL 10W3V2 might but, I hate to get their sub that is 3rd from the top.

All the subs listed are good performers but,

what amp are you going to use?

what kind of box (sealed, ported or bandpass) are you going to use?

what kind of music do you listen to?

Memphis M500d amp. Puts out 250 x 1 @ 4 ohms and 500 x 1 @ 2 ohms. It will be a custom fiberglass enclosure built into the factory sub location of our 2004 Honda Pilot and will be sealed. I listen to alot of different music but mostly, contemporary christian music. Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman, Nicole Nordeman, Zoe Girl, stuff like that.

I was thinking about the 10w3v2 also, but havn't really found any good reviews on it. There also kinda expensive, any others worth considering? Someone recommended PowerBass.

I am kinda getting down to either a Boston Pro or IDQ. The Boston Pro will be nice because all my speakers will be Boston. I just can not find one anywhere for less than $200.
