Should I buy these new Sony 6x9 spkrs for $40 from my friend?
Hey whatsup? My friend has a brand new set of SONY xplod 6x9 spkrs (XS-V6932) that he doesn't need and is willing to sell them to me for $40. These are brand new and have the receipt too lol
Here are some specs:
H.O.P. woofer
paper cone midrange
poly dome tweeter
frequency response 30-26,000 Hz
power range 2-50 watts RMS
peak power handling 220 watts
sensitivity 91 dB
top-mount depth 3"
Should I snap these spkrs up? I have a 02 V6 accord coupe w/a bone-stock stereo system. Do u think they will be a good upgrade and take care of rear fill? Thanks![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
P.S. These are three way spkrs and heres a pic:

I was planning on putting an Amp in my car too, but I was curious if I should get these spkrs for the rear deck since I'll need 2 swap out the stock ones out anyway. But, hey did u get alpine spkrs 4 the front doors or components as well?

I've got a set of used MB quart 6x9's. I'll give them to you for 50 bucks plus shipping. IMO sony is nice but not in the same league as MB's. Lemme know if you're interested.

I didn't get Alpine for the fronts but Boston Pros. I even sold the 6x9s and got Bostons 6x9.
If you're going to get amps, that's no problem then.

IMO speakers are generally a matter of personal taste. If you like what you hear, than go for it. I would go to a Audio shop and listen to them first. You may find a pair of speakers that sound better to you, for say $80. You would than need to ask your self do these speakers sound $40 better?
I agree that an aftermarket amp will make a world of difference with any speakers.
