Ride height with subs
I just got a whole new system in my tl but I didn't put the subs in yet because I have girlfriend and two little girls 1 and 9 months with everyone in the car the back rides kind of low should i have the back raised up a bit to compensate the extra weight....any suggestions the subs are kicker 07dcvr12's they wiegh 88 pounds

A lot of the extra weight comes from the box. If you've got coilovers, raise them up and it'll help. If you have stock springs, you can buy replacements that are built to help with the extra weight. If you've got the woodworking tools, you can build a new box out of Birch plywood, which is around 1/2 the weight of MDF, which your box is made out of. It's also stronger, and technically louder when it comes to pure SPL.

What are you asking about? Weight? Or cost? Weight is 1/2 of MDF. A full sheet of MDF is ~98lbs whereas a full sheet of birch is ~50lbs. Cost for a full sheet of MDF ranges depending on where you're at, but around here is ~$28. A sheet of birch is anywhere from $40-$80, depending on the quality of wood.
