Question Replaced rear speaker, no Juice...weird

Hi all, I just replaced the rear 6x9 OEM speakers in my 04 TSX with a Pioneer TS-A6999 which I had from my previous car, the problem is that when I connect the speaker to the factory wiring there is no sound no matter how high the volume is. If i re-connect the OEM speakers, there is sound.

I tested for continuity from the end terminal to the speaker coil and everything seems fine.

If I connect the TS in another car they work perfectly, I thought that the range was the problem, but comparing the specs to the much recommended Alpine S, the TS-A are within the same numbers.

The specs for the TS-A6999 are:
  • 240 Watts Max. Music Power (60 Watts Nominal)
  • Sensitivity (Efficiency): 92dB (1W/1m)
  • Frequency Response: 30 - 32,000Hz
  • 4 Ohm Rated
Any suggestions?
