My Headunit was on the blin. It kept getting a radio error code ER-E1 when i presed the CD player. I kept playing with the 1-5 buttons when the car was in the II postion and it worked. My battery died like a week ago and I had it replaced. Now when I press the CD player button it says CHEC ER-E1. How can I get it to bypass the CHEC?

 

Try reseting it, disconnect the neg battery for five minutes, it's worth a try, if not it's most likely shot

 

Try that. It still says CHEC ER-E1 when I press the CD.
