radio code

i own a 2002 tl type s. i recently changed my battery and my radio is asking for the code, which i can't find. The serial number is AL 053224
Also when i pressed 1 and 6 i also got these numbers as well: U 3005/ L3224.

can someone please help me retrieve the radio code. I'm aware i can call the dealer and get it thru them but most likely they'll charge me 40 to 50 buck.

There is a fuse panel under the passenger side of your hood up toward the firewall. Pop the cover off and look at the underside of the cover.

Every 2nd Gen TL and CL I've worked on have had the code under that fuse panel.

I have retreived my radio code but it wont reactivate. the guy who gave me the code told me to unplug the black cable from the battery and leave it like that for over night.
