Questions about the stock bose speakers.

A friend is looking at buying some. I don't drive a CL and can't speak for their quality. He's wondering if they are a component setup, or not.

Also, can anyone vouch for the quality? Durability?

Thanks in advance

I still have my factory speakers in with and Alpine head unit and Sony Moble ES 1-ohm stable amps so they drive the 2-ohm speakers no problem. I would say the Bose speakers are barely adequate but I'm a bit of and audio snob. If you're going to put money in to speakers I wouldn't recommend the Bose...

i wasnt, saying that you couldnt find an amp that would power the 2 ohm speakers, i simply meant that they will blow under the load of even a mediocre head unit if you arent careful.
